- G.1440 developed a fast, user-oriented display of complex data that allows Operations center personnel to quickly target, drill into and visually analyze data in a high stress environment.
Constellation Energy (CE)
VirtuaWatt – CE needed a .Net/Oracle platform to allow industrial and other large energy customers to bid into auctions to reduce their electric loads during periods of peak demand and/or power generation shortages in returnfor financial consideration.
- G.1440 designed and developed a robust reverse auction platform that simplifies a complex process into simple actions taken by the customer.
- G.1440 developed a back-end administration system to manage system operation.
- G.1440 integrated the system to the various ISOs (power grids) through web services. CE has been first to market with this product in deregulated markets throughout the county with rave customer reviews.
Online Pricing – CE needed an online wizard designed to capture and facilitate delivery of electric quotes to mid-sized commercial energy consumers.
- G.1440 designed and developed a quick to market solution in 23 days. The system was very positively received in the marketplace and has been rolled out to 17 markets throughout the U.S.

- G.1440 was hired to rescue a stalled Python/Plone application development project for the Department of Agriculture.
- G.1440’s staffing team quickly delivered the right person with the unique skills to complete the application as required.
Sinclair Broadcast Group
- Sinclair Broadcast Group needed an eProcurement System for its national chain of broadcasting affiliates.
- G.1440 delivered a complete eProcurement (eCommerce) system with direct integration with Office Depot using web services. This system is in use by the roughly 58 stations in 38 markets throughout the U.S.
Johns Hopkins University System – i1440
- The Johns Hopkins University needed a system that would collect and report SEVIS data (exchange visitor programs and international students, faculty and staff) to the Department of Homeland Security.
- G.1440 designed and developed International1440 (i1440), a web-based application synchronizing data from multiple sources within an institution, for both internal management and reporting to the Department of Homeland Security.
- This system delivers SEVIS compliance and provides a complete office management solution tracking biographical, immigration, program, financial and contact information for all internationals, electronic forms generation, group letters and email, appointments tracking and automated alert system. With Johns Hopkins’ permission, i1440 was implemented by schools, universities and health care organizations across the country.
BillMeLater, Inc.
- For BillMeLater, G.1440’s Java developers integrated their web presence with the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) Salesforce.com, using web services.
- G.1440 had developed the user-centered web presence for BillMeLater, and integrated Salesforce.com to quickly implement a low cost, high ROI, CRM capability for this fast growing business. G.1440 continues to maintain this interface.
Maryland Dept. of Transportation

- Under the CATS Contract, Dye Management asked G.1440 to provide Business Analysis support to define the requirements for a new Materials Management System for the State Highway Administration.
